Another example of my multiple printed layers from a monoprint and serigraphy. This complexity is difficult to appreciate on the web with low resolutions. This viewer offers extraordinary observation opportunties. This artwork has been imaged by a high quality scanner and is shown here with an online "Zoomer".
A Morphogenetic field, is simply a field, which through constant repetition has become relatively stable. The constant repetition in this print, deal with my past -- thought forms, habit-patterns, conditioning, and past memories of my childhood in India. Over time, this has yielded to stability, in my own self, in my art, and in my relationship with my mother. This print is layered with memories of my childhood days and the house I grew up in India. My mother and my grandmother and my sister have had a tremendous influence in the cultural memory inherent in me. Hence lot of my prints has sides, creativity and stability, the creative present and the relative fixed past. If you look closely you will see embedded photographs right in the composition.
