Indian cuisine is a diverse category and varies from region to region depending on geography, climate, and lifestyle. It includes rice, lentils, yogurt, and coconut, available in abundance in the region.
In my classes, I begin with the basics so that even a person with no experience in cooking can learn! Then, I introduce the spices and herbs that I use in my cooking, teach how to make flavored ghee, and cook fluffy rice with saffron, lentils, and vegetables using coconut flakes and coconut milk. I will also share some traditional cooking tips passed down from my grandmother and mother from Kerala, India. All dishes will be vegetarian and or Vegan.
